Music Video Project
In the making of this music video, I learned many things about cinematography. We shot the video on our phones. We had to shoot many takes to get the perfect angle, lighting, focus, etc. We used many angles to show the characters different emotions. We used many close-up shots to get the character's reactions. We also used mid-shots when the main character was standing. Mid-shots help to show body language in situations. In this video, I played the role of the main girl that fell in love with the "popular" boy. I drew most of the storyboard with feedback from the people in my group. I helped to do the planning portion as well as most of the acting parts. In the future, if I could change anything, I would create a more thought-out storyboard that way it can be easier to follow. I learned many valuable lessons while filming this project. I could use these lessons in more projects down the road.
