CCR Final Video 1. How do your products use or challenge conventions and how do they represent social groups or issues? The things we used that supported our conventions were the lighting and setting of our film. Meanwhile, the thing that challenged our convention was the lighting. In a horror film, it is normal to have a "scary" looking setting. Due to this, we chose our setting to be mainly in the woods. We also edited our film to have darker lighting. It appears to be more suspenseful and unsettling when the lighting is low-key. We used elements of cinematography when filming as well. We used certain angles and shots to get the best product when filming. We used long shots when the main character was walking her dog. We soon after switched to close-up shots when she was getting kidnapped to increase the amount of suspense. Our products represent a very important issue nowadays; girls getting kidnapped. Our main character (me) walked into the woods thinking everything was o
